What is Santo António Weddings?

Santo António Weddings are an initiative of Lisboa Municipal Council (CML) with a strong social character, aimed at lower income young people. This event blossomed from the idea of associating the patron saint of the city of Lisboa, also known as the matchmaker saint, to the desire of CML to make the dream come true for many who, for the most varied reasons, had not yet succeeded in achieving this.

I am planning a civil marriage and I want to rent a Municipal area for this. Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. The rental of Municipal areas for weddings is an initiative through which CML hopes to contribute to the happiness of all who chose the city of Lisboa to marry and settle their families, providing the celebration of civil marriages in suitable public spaces.

Municipal buildings such as Paços do Concelho, Palácio da Mitra, Museu da Cidade, Museu do Fado, Palácio Beau Séjour, Quinta Pedagógica and Espaço Monsanto have thus been made available for this.
