Campaign promotes "Lisbon City without AIDS"

31, January 2019
Anonymous people give face and witness in an effort to improve the diagnosis, improve access to treatment and promote its efficiency.

Each day a real person, everyday a face and a testimony. Everyday because the response to the AIDS virus is a daily imperative and this is the purpose of the campaign "Stop the HIV virus is in our hands", promoted by the Lisbon Municipal Council.

The campaign relies on testimony from several people who screen, prevent infection or live with HIV.
It is part of the "Lisbon City without Aids" strategy, which aims to mitigate the epidemic by 2030 as a public health problem, and by 2020 achieve 90% of the population diagnosed, treated and without possibility to transmit the disease.
