José Mariano Gago named after a square in Lisboa

24, November 2016
It is located in Parque das Nações, in front of the Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciência Viva and is the result of a tribute by Lisboa City Council to the college professor and scientist who, according to the Mayor, was "one of the great drivers of scientific and technological development in Portugal".

This tribute, included in the Science and Culture Week that will be running until November 27, also included the celebration of the 20 years of Ciência Viva, highlighted with an exhibition, a book and the promotion of the historical archive over 20 years of activity and service to the scientific culture.
