Lisbon got dressed properly last September 11th from Downtown to Chiado, from Liberdade Ave to Castilho Street and Príncipe Real to celebrate fashion, to stimulate the consumer's confidence and to promote traditional businesses. A magical night which welcomed the 5th Edition of  Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. Filled with glamour the city went to shop, sang, danced and wandered in this true marathon of fashion, which welcomed the presence of Miss Graça Fonseca, Councillor for Economy and Innovation.
The Sun could still be seen in the sky when the businesses which had joined this event opened their doors to welcome thousands of visitors, that filled the streets, while music could be heard at each corners and animation stirred. Even after the official event closing time, by 11.30pm, the number of people swelled and overflowed the streets.
Besides Chiado, Príncipe Real, Castilho Street and Liberdade Ave, this year also Ouro Street and Augusta Street adhered to the big shopping night. But all around these streets, many shops also adhered unofficially. MUDE - Design and Fashion Museum and S. Roque Museum had special events, Trindade Theatre opened its doors in order for the visitors to know its interior and several of its finest garments.
And because solidarity is already a "regularity" with Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, this year Operation Red Nose was the organization chosen to receive the total value of the sales of the  shopping bag VFNO, the official piece selling in all the adherent shops.
