Lisboa Municipality honors founder of Sport Lisboa e Benfica
01, March 2017With the unveiling of the Cosme Damião Statue - at the Machado Santos Avenue roundabout, near the Estádio da Luz - the Lisboa Municipality carried out another winning project to the Lisboa Participatory Budget.
This is "a special moment for the club and for the city that saw it born". It is years and decades that are in the memory of millions of Portuguese, said the Mayor of Lisboa, remembering the history and successes of the centennial club.
