New sports pavilion at Ginásio Clube Português, more sport in the city

The space will allow an increase of sports practice for three thousand athletes and is the result of a protocol signed with the Lisboa City Council during a ceremony that celebrated the opening of the new car park of the club.

Fernando Medina signed, on behalf of the Lisboa City Council, with the Ginásio Clube Português, a protocol for the expansion of the club's sports complex, allowing the construction of a pavilion for the practice of artistic gymnastics, volleyball and fitness rooms. The event took place during the ceremony that marked the opening of the GCP's new car park, attended by, among other individuals, the Deputy Mayor of Lisboa and City Councilor for Sport, Duarte Cordeiro, the Secretary of State for Youth and Sport, João Paulo Rebelo, and the President of the club, Manuel Cavaleiro de Ferreira.
